Miss Missouri City & Miss Missouri City's Teen are official local preliminaries of the Miss America competition. Winners will receive a prize package that includes an official local Miss America crown & sash, scholarship, and represent Missouri City in the Miss Texas competition.

To become a participant for Miss Missouri City or Miss Missouri City's Teen, you must meet all criteria as shown below:

How to Register
Step 1#: Register with the The Miss America Organization and pay the $49.99 fee. You can register and pay with the link below:

Step #2: Once registered with the Miss America organization, and confirmed, you will register with Miss Missouri City Organization and pay the fee ($150). You can complete the interest form for below.
Step #3: A $30 donation to the American Heart Association is required to compete for each location competition. Once you are registered to compete, you will receive instructions on how to create a fundraising page for donations.
Step #4: Turn in your paperwork at least a week before the competition. Paperwork should be sent via e-mail to missmissouricityorg@gmail.com.

The following are the phases of the competition and scoring breakdown:
Those who are crowned Miss Missouri City or Miss Missouri City's Teen are responsible for fees to compete at the state competition (~$200-$300) as well as their attire to be worn during Miss Texas week. The competition for the title of Miss Texas and Miss Texas' Teen will be held in June of 2026 in Richardson, TX.
The Miss Texas' Teen contestants and their guardians must provide their own lodging in Richardson, TX during the week of Miss Texas.

No. You do not have to be a resident of Missouri City to compete.
Contestants are eligible if they live, work, or attend school in Missouri City or the surrounding eligible area as defined by the Miss Missouri City Organization. This allows young women who have a meaningful connection to the community to participate, even if they do not live within city limits.
Eligibility is verified during the application process, and final eligibility is determined by the Miss Missouri City Organization in accordance with Miss America local competition guidelines.

Titleholders are expected to be available for community events, appearances, and program activities as scheduled throughout their year of service. These appearances are an important part of representing Missouri City and fulfilling the responsibilities of the title.
Schedules are communicated in advance whenever possible, and reasonable accommodations are considered for school, work, and family commitments. However, contestants should apply with the understanding that active participation and availability are required.
